Accounting Manager 

Review, prepare and input accrual, standard, recurring, reclassification and other journal entries into General Ledger.  Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for all journal entries as per company policy.  Prepare and maintain data and support for any entries that are to be made for asset capitalization, write-offs, accruals, accrual reversals or other activities which would require judgment.  Assist in preparation of the balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.  Assist in ensuring proper consolidation of subsidiary financial statements, including treatment of inter-company accounts, translation of financial statements, preparation and documentation of all supporting schedules for recordkeeping, variance analysis and external audit purposes.  Prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis and assist in the preparation of cash forecasts.  Master’s degree in Accounting or Accounting & Information Systems.  Knowledge of and/or experience in U.S. GAAP, IFRS, SOX, financial statements and SEC filing requirements.  Knowledge of and/or experience in general ledger, analysis of financial information and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process in energy industry.  Knowledge of and/or experience in Excel and accounting GL system – Oracle.  CPA license required.
